About the Game:

What started as early playtests and closed creator sessions now continues with an official StreamQuest demo quest for Ascendant during PvP Fest.

Ascendant is a fast, team-based multiplayer shooter built around a re imagined capture-the-flag core. Matches are short, chaotic, and objective-driven and the game truly starts to shine after the first run, once players understand rotations, Biocore timing, and squad coordination.

To make sure streams show Ascendant at its best, this mission focuses on mandatory preparation, real matches, and high-energy, shareable moments instead of first-match confusion.

The demo is live for a limited time only, and this quest is about:

  • Driving demo downloads

  • Creating active matchmaking during PvP Fest

  • Showing viewers how Ascendant is actually played and won

Ascendant is an over-the-top, neon-soaked multiplayer shooter inspired by 80s action movies, built for fast runs, clutch plays, and “did-that-just-happen?” moments.

3 teams of 3 players in each match

Objective-based gameplay centered around securing and returning the Biocore

Fast rotations, tactical choices, and high forgiveness — designed for repeat runs

A retro-future, biopunk world full of style, chaos, and humour

Ascendant is built to be watched: readable objectives, constant momentum, and plenty of moments worth clipping and sharing.

Strategy & Tips from the Devs:

  • Win Condition First squad to secure 2 Biocores wins the match.

  • What Bad Players Do Wrong Don't collect enough power early → Can't afford a Tier 2 shield or better weapons at shops.

  • Pick up ground shields/weapons but die without buying → Lose them on respawn.

  • Pro tip: Get to a shop ASAP (one's at your forward base), spend 100 power on a Tier 2 shield – respawn with it!

  • Same for weapons: stock up for better gear on respawn. What Good Players Focus On Rush power collection right after drop (shared team pool – more for everyone).

  • Buy shields/weapons early at shops for respawn advantages.

  • Adapt: If everyone rushes objective A, pivot to B or C. Resurrect teammates: If out of lives, they ping a resurrection point (press Spacebar) – head there to bring them back.

  • Stick together: Teamwork wins – coordinate pushes, share power, cover each other

Ascendant is a very rewarding game once it clicks, so please take the time to learn the systems it will massively improve both your experience and your stream quality.
