About the game

The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire is an open-world crime and management game from BEF GAMES, published by Tripwire Presents. In Early Access on Steam since October 2025, it launches into 1.0 on 27 October 2026. A strong fit for creators whose audiences enjoy management, tycoon and simulation games, RPG progression and open-world crime.

Tell the story of your first steps toward becoming the boss. Give viewers a taste of the street-level action, then take them further into the game.

Street level
A taste of the hustle: a quick job, a sale or a chase, so chat sees where every boss starts.
Your operation
An Office, a business or a production operation. Stock it, upgrade it or organize production, and explain where the money goes.
Your people
Manage your staff or put a family member to work, and introduce them to chat.
Next move
The decision that helps you expand. Bring chat into it and end on your next ambition.

The opening is slower, with mechanics to learn, and the game gets much deeper as its systems connect. Prepare before your stream so you reach the business, family and empire-building side during your session.
Selected creators receive private preparation instructions to help them get there faster.
Choose a manageable story for your session. You don't need to finish the game or take over the whole city.

The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire puts you inside that climb. Earn your first money on the streets, build a business, recruit a crime family and turn a small operation into an organization with people, production and territory to manage.

Throughout Early Access, BEF GAMES has kept expanding that journey: open-world freedom, a guided campaign, rival families, deeper businesses and more ways to put your organization to work. On 27 October 2026 the game takes its next step with its 1.0 launch. This mission is your chance to bring your community into that moment and tell your own rise-to-power story.

Why it streams

Key features

Start with nothing. Pickpocket, pick locks, sell on the street, drive a taxi or run a hot dog stand: every boss starts with small jobs.

Recruit a crime family. Members build skills like Charisma, Trade and Lockpicking as they work, and you can switch between them or send them on missions.

Run the club. A nightclub with staff, security, VIP areas and gambling, and every one of them is a decision chat can weigh in on.

Set up production. Warehouses with workers, production chains and a crew to sell what you make, so the money keeps coming while you plan.

Steal cars and make them yours. Take a ride off the street and rebuild it in the chop shop.

Take the city district by district. Rival crime families and the police stand between you and every new territory.

Launch day first

Apply with your availability for 27 and 28 October. Launch day is the priority: we bring creators together on Tuesday 27 October, with a second push on Wednesday 28 October. Selection and scheduling are coordinated through StreamQuest, and your accepted Quest lists your tier, gameplay duration, tasks and start time.

Viewers and tiers

Your tier follows your recent average concurrent viewers (CCV) across your last streams: Bronze from 5, Silver from 15, Gold from 50. Silver and Gold also need the matching StreamQuest tier unlocked on your account, the rank you build up by completing quests. If you are a bigger creator and do not have that tier unlocked yet, get in touch with the mods in the StreamQuest Discord before you apply. Gold is for Tier 1 regions only: the European Union, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Australia and New Zealand.

Prepare before you go live

The game has a slower opening with mechanics to learn. Read the private preparation instructions that come with your accepted Quest and test the game before going live, so your stream reaches the business, family and empire-building side.

Start time, disclosure and the tracked link

Follow the start time and sponsorship instructions supplied in your Quest. Use the StreamQuest tracked Steam link from your Quest and keep its tracking parameters intact.

Proof

Submit your Twitch VOD and the proof for any side quests through the Creator Dashboard, as described in your Quest. Add timestamps so we can find your gameplay. Need help with your submission? Our Discord DMs are open.
